Smooth will be a destination spot along our Sketchcrawl routes on May 15 and definitely a great place to stop at and get some lunch or refreshing drink, as you continue to record your surroundings...people watch...sketch...or just rest for a while.

Look 'em up @ www.smoothonbull.com to find out more about this awesome locally-owned internet Cafe.

And until the Sketchcrawl, visit them at 143 Bull Street -- Savannah, Georgia.

The Savannah Date is OFFICIAL

May 15th is the official date of the first Savannah Sketchcrawl, hosted by the Savannah Art Association. If you'd like to read more about the concept and the person responsible go here
http://sketchcrawl.com/

The founder of Sketchcrawl made May 15th an official Sketchcrawl date, just for Savannah, so all over the world Sketchcrawlers will be drawing on the same day. This will be documented and sent on to the Sketchcrawl site - so lets show the world Savannah is a happening place for art.

This event is open to anyone who wants to draw, paint, or sketch their day around town. It is a FREE event and all are welcome to come at any time during the period between 10 am and 4 pm to be part of the activity. You don't have to be a professional artist or even an amateur one - just come out and sketch your day and be part of a global event.

The Savannah Sketchcrawl organizers are putting together 3 routes throughout downtown for maximum sketching potential which will be handed out to all participants (until they run out). For those less mobile - a route that will include the DOT service (which is also FREE) will be available.

Please visit this site often for updates and eventually a map of the route. Or email us here: SavannahSketchCrawl@gmail.com with questions.
